Tokyo Hot Chicken is a pop-up from the culinary minds of Chef Michael Mina and MINA Group. Hot Chicken meets Japanese Karaage, Tokyo Hot Chicken is the best of two worlds, combining the Nashville Classic with Japanese flavors and ingredients. This unique concept delivers food that has bold flavors, and that is satisfying and crave worthy. The Tokyo Hot Chicken menu features buckets of chicken (a mix of drums, wings, thighs); chicken tenders; and a hand-held togarashi chicken snacker served with a kimchi slaw and spicy kewpie. Tokyo Hot Chicken also offers a menu of signature dipping sauces, such as Chukka Tare with soy, sesame, chili; the Yum Yum Sauce with kewpie and furikake; Yuzu Kosho Honey; Matcha Sea Salt; and our signature Tokyo Secret Hot sauce with chili and yuzu. To round out the menu, Tokyo Hot Chicken offers a delicious menu of sides. Omakase is the latest culinary vision of Sushi Chef Ichiro Takao. Chef Ichiro was born in Osaka, known as ‘the kitchen of Japan’, then moved to a nearby seaside town of Kushimoto which is where his life long culinary journey began. Starting as a teen in the kitchen of his family’s 400 seat ocean front restaurant, he worked long hours observing the best of what each of his chef parents skills could offer. Chef Ichiro was trained in the Western Japanese style of sushi, known as ‘Osaka Style’ and known for its tenderness, natural balance of sweet and spicy, and a rich depth of flavors.
